Our Family History

The Timeline:
2003- D&T meet and begin their magical courtship
2007- D&T are married
2009- Noah Aaron is born
2011- Audrey Lynn joins the crew
(Wow, we really like odd years for major family milestones, huh?)


Why a blog? 
After years of my harping that blogs were only for those utterly self-important folks who truly believed that their lives were so very interesting that everyone must read about them, I decided to start a blog.  We are originally from Pittsburgh, and it kills us being so far from the majority of our family and friends. Hopefully this can help everyone connect a little better and keep up with our kiddos, as they sure do seem to grow fast.

Also, I realize that I am terrible at documenting our family moments.  I adore scrapbooking, but as Audrey is about to celebrate her 1st birthday, I realize that I have only gotten through 5 months of her scrapbook.  So maybe that isn't the most efficient way for us.    Pictures just get dumped on the computer and rarely seen.  And the thought of digital scrapbooking is just too much to handle.

But blogging?  Taking some time to putz around on the computer while the kids roam unsupervised?  Sure! I can do that.  I have also heard that any idiot can start a blog, so I decided to test that theory!

Hopefully this will help us preserve some memories until the kids are old enough to give me time to scrapbook them properly!

(Disclaimer:  This is not to say that if you have a blog you are a self-important idiot.  I have actually really enjoyed my friends' blogs, hence I am following in their footsteps!)
